High Country Hamlets

High Country Hamlets is a group of businesses and enterprises with a focus on locally produced food and satisfying experiences in our relaxing high country environment.

High Country Hamlets micro region has plenty to see and do, there are three National Parks, each with the very unique wet and dry sclerophyll forests, spectacular granite bolders and long drop waterfalls. These are:

• Tiny Palms National Park in the north.
• Ravensbourne National Park in the south east
• Crows Nest National Park to the east. 

There are three lakes, Cooby, Perseverance and Cressbrook, a Visitor Information Centre, town parks, country gardens and a Pioneer Village. The accomodation choices are endless from farmstays, luxury studios and glamping to holiday cottages with warm toasty fires and views across the valley.
