Why We Are Here

Progress Crows Nest is a group of volunteers that is committed to enhancing the quality of life of Crows Nest residents and visitors by improving the environment in which we live, the lifestyle we are able to live and encouraging and supporting sustainable business development particularly in tourism.

What we do

  • We promote business and lifestyle opportunities;
  • We develop and encourage progress within the Crows Nest District;
  • We develop and encourage active recreation within the district; We develop and encourage tourism within the district;
  • We develop and promote the progress, active recreation and tourism assets of the district;
  • We encourage, foster and organise community support for the progress of the district, the development of active recreation within the district and the development of tourism within the district;
  • We honour the history of the premises at 14 Toowoomba Road, Crows Nest, Queensland and deliver its potential as a hub for the benefit of the community and visitors to the district.
  • We are a member of Southern Queensland Country Tourism
  • We are a member of High Country Hamlets
  • We run this website to promote the Crows Nest District.
  • We maintain a Community Growth Action Plan which is currently being updated
